Black head
We boarded the hard boat at Porthoustock and headed south. The
intention was to dive the Lizard but conditions weren't quite right so
we stopped off at black head for a fast drift instead. The drift took us past sea fans, dead men's fingers and a myriad of other invertebrate life. There was a variety fish life the most notable being some beautifully coloured ballen wrasse. A fine spot, but not for the inexperienced as the current can be
quite fast and it drops off quickly at the end. We came up when we got
to 36m and it was still going down! Depth 0-36m + Rating ****
