Seals can be found in many areas of Cornwall, most most notably the extreme west and north coasts, but I have been 'buzzed' by seals of Pendennis point Falmouth and St. Mawes light house. Grey seals are frequent visitors to Newquay harbour, where up to 5 can be regularly seen. The photo's here were taken off Treen cove on the north coast, on a most memorable dive. I tried to find some safety information on diving with seals but couldn't find anything significant. However, common sense would suggest that they have big teeth so caution is advised, don't hassle them, don't corner them and let them come to you, if they want to! If you have any reliable advice please let me know.
